Administrative Hierarchy.
The University management realized that to develop high standards of performance and quality education, University Statutes, Regulations and allied procedures should be correctly formulated and uniformly followed in all Faculties of the University. The support and general staff in the University are just as important to its success as the academic staff. Therefore, these groups needed to be brought together to form a consolidated team to seamlessly coordinate all activities on campus. The University focused on these areas soon after its inception, adopted a fast track approach to meet its statutory obligations in letter and spirit. The University’s Statutes and Regulations were drafted in the first few initial months which were approved by the Board of Governors and adopted by the University. In an effort to regulate its internal working in a smooth and systematic manner and to give effect to the decisions of the Board of Governors, in addition to completing the establishment of various statutory bodies as required under the Ordinance, it also formulated an Administrative Hierarchy of the University which is now being built up progressively. This has set the stage for orderly conduct of the University’s academic and administrative functions.
