M.Com - Banking
M.Com - Banking is
a specialized program developed to cater to the needs of the banking
sector in Pakistan. This program is offered in collaboration with
the Institute of Bankers Pakistan - IBP. IBP is the most reliable
name in teaching and training of banking courses. The Governor
of the State Bank of Pakistan is the head of IBP. With this collaboration
students will also benefit through the expertise of IBP. The IBP
umbrella will make the degree highly acceptable in the banking sector
of Pakistan.
IBP is a knowledge institute
working primarily for the capacity building and human resource development
in the financial service industry for the last 52 years. The diploma
offered by IBP has exceptional importance in the banking sector
and is considered of high value. On the basis of this diploma rewards
and incentives are given to banker. That present it is open to all
bankers and on bankers. M.Com - Banking covers all the course
of this diploma making it convenient for the student to pass the
diploma examination.
Internship and training
Students of m.Com - Banking
will have to go through a three-month supervised internship program.
IBP will arrange special training sessions to be conducted by senior
bankers and subject experts on the following topics:

- Deposit mobilization
- Prudential regulations
- Credit management
- Bank accounting
- Assets and liability management in banks
- Marketing of financial services
- International trade finance
- Foreign exchange.
