Introduction to FOE

The Faculty of Engineering provides technical content that is current and relevant to the present and future needs of the engineering practice. It fosters the growth of the student’s analytical faculties, design abilities, and problem-solving skills. Students are encouraged to prepare themselves for a lifetime of continuous learning in a world of accelerating change.

The Faculty of Engineering presently offers an undergraduate program leading to a Bachelor of Sciences Degree in Electrical Engineering, B.Sc (EE), with elective tracks of Telecommunication Engineering, Electronics Engineering and Computer Engineering. The faculty provides a program that incorporates analysis, design and development of electrical, electronics and computer systems, and prepares graduates for successful entry into the engineering profession.

The overall program is based on the guidelines issued by the Higher Education Commission and is accredited by The Pakistan Engineering Council. The curriculum is backed by well-equipped, state-of-the-art laboratories where students carry out practical work under the supervision of fully trained laboratory engineers.

The highly educated faculty members motivate students to learn the art of electrical engineering in classrooms and laboratories. Emphasis is also placed on the study of humanities and social sciences to develop a balanced engineer. Our graduates are expected to be employed in diverse areas such as power, telecommunication, computer engineering, industry, teaching and research. They can continue their education either in Pakistan or abroad.
