Admission Requirements (Management Studies)
Master of Business Administration (MBA)
Students can apply for admission to the MBA Program at University of Central Punjab after acquiring a BBA / BBA-IT degree from UCP or a Bachelor’s degree in Arts or Commerce, or the equivalent thereof from a recognized university in Pakistan.
UCP students who have completed 124 credit hours in BBA / BBA-IT with at least a 2.5 CGPA are eligible to register for the MBA program. Those completing a BBA / BBA-IT degree from UCP are required to further complete 36 semester credit hours (sch) with a minimum CGPA of 3.0.
Master of Business Administration (Direct)
To be eligible for placement in the MBA (Direct) Program, a candidate should hold a Bachelor's degree in Humanities, Science or Commerce from a recognized university in Pakistan with at least a 2nd division result. A Masters or Professional degree holder from a recognized institution in Pakistan is also eligible for admission to the MBA program and is required to complete only those foundation courses from which he/she is not eligible for exemption. The University provides individual academic advisory services to each student.
Candidates awaiting results may also apply but they will be considered and accepted on a provisional basis. A student is not promoted to the next semester unless he/she clears the examination in at least the 2nd division.
All applicants are required to appear for the in-house College Admission Test and Interview. Admission is granted to students on the basis of their academic record and the scores achieved in the test and interview.
Master of Business Administration (MBA Executive)
Students may apply for admission to the MBA Executive program of UCP after graduation, with at least a 2nd division result and 2 years’ relevant work experience. A four-year graduation program will require only one year of work experience.
Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA)
To be eligible for admission to the BBA program, a candidate must have an Intermediate Certificate in Arts, Science, or Commerce from a recognized institution of higher education in Pakistan with a minimum of a 2nd division result, or A’ Levels from an English educational system, or the equivalent thereof from other foreign systems.
Students are also required to appear for an in-house written examination followed by an interview. Students with at least 60% marks obtained in the test / interview are sent acceptance letters.
