Pro-Rector's Message

I am delighted to welcome you to University of Central Punjab, a known name in the field of education for providing relevant and career-focused education in the arts and sciences at the graduate and doctoral levels.  UCP has established itself as a place of learning which provides the most progressive and innovative programs of study built on the integration of theoretical and practical learning. Our programs are distinguished by a professionally focused curricula and a strong emphasis on excellence in teaching. Our meticulously chosen faculty keeps itself current in their fields of expertise and imparts education that is grounded in contemporary business practices and market demands.

We are constantly broadening our academic base and adding new faculties. At present, we are operating Faculty of Management Studies, Faculty of Information Technology, Faculty of Commerce and Faculty of Engineering. Two additional faculties, Faculty of Language and Literature and Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences are in the planning stages.  These faculties offer a wide range of graduate and undergraduate programs which provide students with a chance to explore their options in sync with their intellectual and professional interests. While preparing students with specialist skills and knowledge in their chosen fields, heavy emphasis is also placed on developing well-rounded individuals with sharp cognitive and thinking ability, as well as the interpersonal and communication skills needed to succeed socially and professionally.

We know that education creates and empowers skilled human resource which ultimately contributes to individual and national growth. This is only possible however, when the opportunity to educate is provided in a supportive learning environment.  Our infrastructure and facilities at UCP make the learning experience enjoyable and exciting for students. Our classrooms are equipped with multimedia, our libraries are well stocked and our labs where students do their projects and research work are state-of-the-art. To improve quality and increase our research output, we have academic and research links with universities around the world. A number of cultural and sports clubs exist to help students discover their talents and express them through sports, music, debates and drama.  I assure you that your academic and social experiences at UCP will be extremely rewarding and you will feel proud to become part of our rapidly growing and dynamic student community.
