The ORIC at UCP conducted a five week intensive entrepreneurship training programme during weekends, Fridays and Saturdays for graduates who need to develop essential skills, competencies, knowledge and network that can let them realize their business ideas into a corporate reality. The inaugural session of the Certificate in Entrepreneurship took place on 27th July, 2016 at the Conference Hall, where Dr. Bilal Mirza, Director ORIC, highlighted the main features of the programme with Dr. Muhammad Zafarullah, Pro-Rector, UCP, the faculty involved and the participants. Dr. Bilal Mirza stressed on the need of the entrepreneurial ecosystem at the university, for which the certificate shall play a vital role in coming months. Dr. Muhammad Zafarullah, Pro-Rector UCP, in his welcome address congratulated ORIC for their efforts to organize such a successful programme in the first attempt, and emphasized the participants of the programme to bring forward innovative business ideas that the ORIC can facilitate in its incubation.
The course was being delivered in a flexible mode (over the weekends) on Friday evenings from 6:30pm – 9:30 pm and on Saturdays from 9:30am – 5:30 pm at UCP premises. Following are the main features of this course.
