Management and Organization Division of UCP Business School is the largest of all other divisions, both, in terms of courses that it offers and the number of students enrolled. The division provides students a chance to excel in three diverse areas of management studies which comprises of Management, Human Resource Management and Entrepreneurship while they are given an opportunity to specialize in Human Resource Management and Entrepreneurship.
Human Resource Management specialization is being offered at both, bachelors and masters level. The courses currently being offered at bachelor’s level include:

Advance level courses at Master’s level are:
- Training and Development
- Conflict and Negotiation
- Strategic Human Resource Management
- Human Resource Information System (falls under IT and Operations Management Division)
The highlight of this Division is that it is amongst the very few in Pakistan to offer such a diverse portfolio of entrepreneurship courses. The school aims to provide extraordinary quality of education to students who aspire to become successful entrepreneurs by offering courses which include:

Students enrolled in the Management and Organization Division have the opportunity to acquire knowledge from eleven courses in Management, ten in Human Resource Management and seven courses in Entrepreneurship in its current state. To maintain a good balance of quality and diversity in our courses is certainly no easy task. We, therefore, maintain an optimum mix of full-time and adjunct faculty within this division whereby most of the full-time members secure at least MPhil/MS level degrees in their respective subject areas. Many of them are already in pursuance of PhD from either local or foreign universities.
Dr. Muhammad Shehryar Shahid
Dr. Muhammad Shehryar Shahid is the Head of the Management and Organisation Division and also the Director of Centre for Entrepreneurship and SMEs (CESME) in UCP Business School. He has a doctorate degree from the University of Sheffield, UK in the area of Entrepreneurship. He has been educated from the Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS), Ghulam Ishaq Khan Institute of Engineering Sciences and Technology (GIKI) and Aitchison College, Lahore. He is a thorough professional with rich experience in many reputable organizations including HAWKS Engineering, TUSDEC and COMSATS. He holds various certifications in the area of Project Feasibility, Business Process Re-Engineering, Strategic Management and Six Sigma. He is an active researcher and already successfully conducted many research projects on National and International forum. He is also the editor and member of reviewing committee of various research journals and conferences.
Aitzaz Khurshid is a PhD candidate of UCP-GAU Collaboration program under the faculty development program of the University of Central Punjab. He earned his MBA degree from the Asian Institute of Technology, Thailand and has a teaching experience of 10 years in both areas of Marketing and Management. He has served the value–added textile sector in the management capacity for six years before joining the academia and has held various management responsibilities during his stay at the University. Currently he is acting as Coordinator for students of MBA programs of UCP and his research interest is in the area of Strategic Management.
Ms Neelam Yousaf is working as an Assistant Professor and Team Leader of Human Resource (HR) Department in Management and Organization Division of UCP Business School. She is also associated with Personal and Professional development Centre, UCP. She has a MS in HRM degree from MONSH University, Australia. She also completed her Master of Business and Information Technology (MBIT) from University of the Punjab. Her bachelor in commerce is from Hailey college of Commerce, University of the Punjab. She has seven years of professional experience in Business Analysis, Training, HR consultancy and Teaching. She as a trainer was on the panel of Director General Performance Audit Wing, Department of Auditor General of Pakistan and Livestock and Dairy Development, Government of Punjab for both International as well as local training programs. She won young talent award from Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) in 2009. She contributed in national and international conferences such as International Forum on Knowledge Asset Dynamics Glasgow, UK and British Academy of Management at Cardiff University, UK. Her research interests are Flexible work arrangements, work life balance and Psychological Contracts. She is also an Associate Editor for International Journal of Innovative Finance – IJIF. She strongly believes in social responsibility and volunteered her services for social work. An example of that would be developing HR system and manuals for Akhuwat Health Services.
Amjad Hussain has MBA degrees from Salford Business School, University of Salford, UK. Before his MBA, he got a post graduate diploma in Business Administration from London College of Commerce, UK. He became the part of University of Central Punjab in 2011 and before joining, he has been the part of University of Management and Technology (UMT) and Pakistan Institute of Fashion and Design (PIFD). Having a versatile corporate experience at national and international level, He is now an active teacher and researcher in the area of Strategic Management and Business Policy.
Amna Zulfiqar has joined Faculty of Management Studies, as Lecturer. She has obtained MS and BS (Honors) degree from Institute of Administrative Sciences, University of the Punjab in the area of Management Studies. She has been educated from Kinnaird College Lahore. She conducted an extensive research on service delivery of public hospitals. Before joining as a permanent faculty member in UCP Business School she has been a visiting faculty member of Institute of Administrative Sciences and Centre for Clinical Psychology at University of the Punjab.
Aniqa Rehman has joined Faculty of Management studies, as Assistant Professor. She has obtained her MPhil from COMSATS Institute of Information Technology, Lahore, Pakistan. She has completed her MBA from the same institution and B.com form Hailey College of Commerce, University of The Punjab, Lahore, Pakistan. It was her unstinted effort that won her various laurels during her academic career at that institution. By means of her extra-ordinary academic record she was able to get scholarship in MBA program and with her in-born abilities and efforts she managed to secure FIRST position in the program. She was the first, since the inception of the institution, to win two Gold Medals; Chancellor’s Gold Medal and Campus Gold Medal in MBA. Again when she applied for MS, on the basis of academic record, aptitude test and interview given she was able to win scholarship and Research Assistantship for MS program. She is throughout first division holder and has around five years of research and teaching experience. She has presented research papers in 3rd International Symposium on Management, Engineering and Informatics (MEI 2007) in Florida, USA and South Asian International Conference AGBA in Bhurban, Pakistan. She has also been very active in attending and arranging conferences at both of the universities she has served. Professional experience at Askari Bank Limited and NADRA Pakistan adds to her breadth of knowledge and experience. She is supervisor of MBA project and MS thesis. In addition to the academic and administrative responsibilities, she has been anchor person for many university events and has hosted a program “The Visitor’s Book” on PTV. Her areas of teaching and research interests include Human Resource Management, Organization Development, Organizational Citizenship Behavior, Counter Productive Work Behavior, Learning Organization, Job Stress, Job Satisfaction and Stakeholders’ Trust.
Inam Ul Haq
Inam Ul Haq is PhD scholar in University of Technology Malaysia and is having more than 5 years of teaching experience in different Universities. He has been associated with University of Central Punjab since 2010. He has completed his MS Management in 2010 from International Islamic University Islamabad. Moreover, he also worked on many research projects and published more than 20 articles in reputable international journals. His research area includes Interpersonal Conflict, Psychological Contracts, Psychological Capital, Interpersonal Mistreatment at Workplace and Job Stress.
Irfan Saleem is working as Assistant Professor at University of Central Punjab (UCP). He has MS/M.Phil (Human Resource Management) from Mohammad Ali Jinnah and MBA degree from Bahauddin Zakariya University Multan University to credit. He has more than ten years of experience at various instituted of higher education sector. Before joining UCP, he served Bahauddin Zakariya University Multan, COMSATS Institute of Information Technology Islamabad, Institute of Space Technology Islamabad and Kinnaird College for Women Lahore at diversified managerial and teaching positions. He has contributed for academic journals of local and international repute. He is an active researcher in the integrated areas of Human Resource Management, Information Technology and Management of Service Sector.
Irfan Siddique did his MS in Entrepreneurship and SME Management from GCU Lahore and before that he completed his MBA from IBA, University of the Punjab, Lahore. He has been working as Assistant Professor in UCP – Business School since Feb, 2011. Before joining UCP- Business School, he worked for Lahore Business School (LBS) University of Lahore as Head of Entrepreneurship department and has also an experience of lecturer in BUITEMS, Quetta. In addition to this he worked at different positions in Industry for more than 7 years which includes Assistant Manager Marketing for PEPSI COLA and Revenue Officer WAPDA. His research area confines to marketing of SMEs and Supply chain Issues of SMEs. He presented his papers in different national and international conferences and also published articles in HEC recognized journals. He is also an external examiner for GCU MS (Entrepreneurship and SME management) projects.

Farooq Hussain is a graduate of Elmhurst College, USA, Masters from Keller Graduate School of Management U.S.A., DBA in International Business and Global Management from Argosy University, U.S.A., currently working on his PhD dissertation at University of Malaysia. He has served scores of degree awarding institutes nationally & internationally for more than a decade in the capacity of HOD, Associate professor, Assistant professor, Lecturer, visiting faculty & trainer including International Islamic University (IIU), Islamabad, GIFT University, ARID University, COMSATS, Ripah International, FAST University & University of Central Punjab. M. Farooq Hussain has fourteen publications in international Journals whilst having exposure to attend more than 20 International platforms in the capacity of keynote speaker, session-chair, & presenter. M. Farooq Hussain has published a small booklet where has challenge the trend analysis of social factor in economics of U.S. Bureau of Budget. Currently working on a book about Globalization: its impact on its antecedents. On the corporate side, M. Farooq Hussain has worked as a certified trainer & consultant from George Washington University and trained employees of more than fifty (50) corporations in United States of America (USA). M. Farooq Hussain also has 15 years of corporate experience as Business Analyst with prestigious international organizations. BP-Amoco, Namora (Largest Japanese real estate firm in U.S.A), AON corporation (second largest insurance firm in U.S.A), Wrigley (the chewing gum co.), W.W.Grainger and Bond Technologies, Target (an upscale largest retailer of US) & Ministry of Commerce. His training endeavors have been spread in 25 different countries in the area of Full-Cycle Business Process, Full-Cycle ERP, implementations from 120 employees to 16,000 employees (Oracle and SAP), Supply Chain, International Marketing program, Marketing and Trade of various countries and trend analysis

Muhammad Umer Azeem
Muhammad Umer Azeem is Ph.D. scholar with more than 4 years of teaching experience in different Universities. He has been associated with University of Central Punjab since 2010.
He has completed his MS Management in 2010 and declared as Gold medalist for holding 1st position. Moreover, he also worked on many research projects and published more than 15 articles in reputable international journals. His research area includes organizational psychology generally and Perceived injustice, perceived politics and workplace deviance, specifically.
Madiha Hamid has a Masters degree in Business Administration from University of Central Punjab. Before joining as lecturer, she has been working as Manager Corporate Linkages at the Directorate of Promotion and Placements of UCP for over a year’s time.
Quratulain is MBA (Finance) from University of Central Punjab. She is currently working as lecturer in UCP Business School. She is the topper and Roll of Honor holder of her batch.
Rabiha Hassan is currently serving UCP as a Lecturer in Faculty of Management Studies. She recently joined UCP with full zeal to serve the nation and work for the betterment of the society. She did her MBA with majors in marketing and BBA (hons) with majors in Finance from Lahore School of Economics. She is one of the bona fide students of LSE and studied on full distinction on merit basis. She also got silver medal in her MBA from LSE. Before joining as a permanent faculty of UCP she was working in visiting faculty in UCP. She is teaching management courses in UCP.
Saqib Ilyas is currently serving University of Central Punjab as a Lecturer in UCP Business School. He is also a PhD scholar at Aix Marseille University, France. He has also done Master of Science and Bachelors in Business Administration with specialization in Human Resource Management from International Islamic University, Islamabad. He has also been associated with couple of other universities as research associate and visiting faculty. His research contributions include five International Publications along with many National and International conference presentations. His area of research includes Human Resource Management, Organizational Behavior, Organizational Culture and performance management.
Saquib S. Bhatti
Saquib S. Bhatti is a graduate of the School of Management, Asian Institute of Technology (AIT), Thailand, a leading business school of Asia Pacific Region. Mr. Bhatti brings with himself a decade long rich and diversified experience of the industry. Mr. Bhatti worked as Director Strategic Planning at RED Communication Arts, Lahore. Prior to that, he headed the sales and marketing functions of Sundrop at Wali Oil Mills, Lahore. He also served legends like Habib Oil Mills, Karachi and Sapphire Fibres Ltd., Lahore, in the areas of marketing research, brand management, and merchandising. Mr. Bhatti swiitched to the academia in 2002, and has been into teaching ever since. Before joining UCP he was associated with FAST School of Business, NUCES, Islamabad.Saquib Bhatti has researched on the use of information technology in retail chains for achieving competitive advantage - a study of retail chains in Pakistan and France. This study formed part of his Masters’ thesis. During his Masters, Mr. Bhatti had the honour of being an exchange program student at ESCP – Paris, sponsored by the Government of France under the AIT-EC exchange program. His areas of interest are Marketing management, Strategic marketing, Consumer behaviour, Advertising & Promotion.
Shabana Naveed is currently serving UCP as lecturer in Faculty of Management Studies. She has earned MS (Management) and MBA (Finance) from University of the Punjab. She has served as lecturer (BPS-17) at Islamabad Commerce College for Women. She has also taught various commerce and management courses at University of the Punjab as visiting faculty. She is an active teacher and researcher in the area of public sector reforms, organizational theory and human resource management. For the requirement of her MS program, she has conducted a comprehensive research on rhetoric and reality of strategic human resource management in state-owned enterprises in Pakistan taking Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited as a case study. She has presented research papers in national and international conferences.
