Representative of U.S. Mission in Islamabad visits UCP
Tracey Newell, a representative of U.S. Consulate in Islamabad visited the Faculty of IT and Management Studies of UCP on Monday 21st of November. She was accompanied by Ms. Lubna S. Anwar, Educational Advisor, U.S. Department of State, Consulate of USA, Lahore.
Both the ladies visited the campuses of the two faculties and appreciated the services rendered by the Punjab Group in attaining nationwide educational excellence.
Later, Tracey Newell and Lubna S. Anwar addressed a large gathering of UCP students at the UCP Hall.
Ms. Newell advised the students on how to apply for U.S. category F1 visas. She gave details for the reasons of delay in visa processing. She also clarified some common misconceptions among students willing to continue their advanced studies in the U.S. Ms. Anwar on the other hand enlightened all by explaining the best possible route to a good American University for graduate study.
At the end, the Pro-Rector thanked the distinguished guests for their visit and presented UCP souvenirs to Ms. Tracey Newell and Ms. Lubna S. Anwar.
