Department of International Relation's visit to the Head Office of Human Rights Commission of Pakistan (HRCP)

On Friday, 12 November, Mr Usman Shahid (Faculty Member) from the International Relations Department and M. Farooq FILO of FASS paid a visit to the Head office of Human Rights Commission of Pakistan (HRCP) in Lahore.

Matters of mutual interests were discussed at length. Both sides talked about the possibilities of engagement in a range of areas; Recruitment of UCP students, Internship program, joint research projects, advocacy campaigns, seminars and webinars on human rights issues, and celebration of UN Human Rights Day.

HRCP is willing to sign MOU with UCP and appreciates the University approach and outreach to bridge the gap between academia and the development sector.
