UCP Photography Club arranged a photography workshop for its society members on Friday, 5th January, 2018. The idea of the workshop was to sharpen the skills of the young photographers and help them improve their skills in tough environments and lightings. UCP Photography Club requested services of Mr. Agha Rizwan, a famous name in the photography circuit of Pakistan, for conducting the workshop. In his session, Mr. Rizwan highlighted common mistakes of photographers, gave them tips to avoid those mistakes and urged the participants to do more practical and creative work. Since there was a photo walk scheduled for the next day, Mr. Rizwan gave tips to photographers regarding street life and landscape photography. Mr. Rizwan’s session concluded with a vote of thanks and souvenir presentation. The workshop ceased for Friday prayers and later resumed with Mr. Faheem Hussain, senior photographer and Events Head of UCP Photography Club. He introduced students to camera basics, how to tackle lighting in different environments and some composition techniques being used worldwide. Towards the end of the session, Mr. Ali Haider, Executive member of the club introduced the students to the basic post processing techniques. This workshop proved to be really beneficial for the participants.
