UCP launched its undergraduate Civil Engineering Program in November 2013 after a successful “Zero Visit” of Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC). Subsequently, in May 2015, the PEC team had an Interim visit for the Civil Engineering Program and submitted a satisfactory report. The Civil Engineering Department has two dedicated buildings with more than 28000 sq. ft. covered area housing faculty offices, laboratories and conference room along with other facilities. Experienced and qualified faculty teaches and trains the students in order to make them knowledgeable and skillful engineers. Modern laboratories have been developed in the department and are equipped with the latest machinery and apparatuses.
The Civil Engineering department offers B.Sc. Civil Engineering program. The department provides an environment conducive to learning and is dedicated to enhance the students’ engineering skills so they can meet the current challenges of the industry. Foreign Qualified and experienced faculty members have been inducted to ensure the transfer of current knowledge to the students in order to make them skillful and professional engineers. The scheme of studies has been developed after thorough considerations with the objective of strengthening every basic aspect of engineering which will be an asset for our graduates when they join the industry, after graduation.
