Senior year project

I-FUNDUS

The project was developed as a tele-ophthalmology solution for the Armed Forces Institute of Ophthalmology. It included a Smartphone App which utilizing a 20D Lens & Smartphone flash-light arranged together in a frame could capture internal segments of eye & store this in a cloud based repository accessible to ophthalmologists in AFIO.
The App also included Eye-Sight tests & incorporated a MATLAB based research simulation of the fundus images to detect the internal eye diseases from the images captured.
The project won 3rd position in All Pakistan Computer Projects Exhibition & Competition, 2014.

Semester projects (MS)

ENetRec : Recommendation System using Ensembled Auto-Encoders

The project consisted of a system that made recommendations with collaborative filtering, by aggregating the results of two variants of AutoEncoders: Full Emphasis Denoising Autoencoder and Reconstruction Autoencoder.

Driver state detection for safe driving using Neural Networks

The goal of the project was to predict the state of driver in the car (e.g. texting, eating, talking on the phone, etc) given driver images. The project used convolutional neural networks. It consisted of Network Ensemble, averaging the results of two fine-tuned models, AlexNet and GoogLeNet, to detect the state of driver.

Research Report on ‘Software Project Management and its Challenges in Global Software Projects’

The report presented in depth analysis of main challenges faced in global software projects and proposed solutions based on insights of existing research work and literature. The solutions suggested in the report can be adapted by those organizations who want their remote software projects to be an epitome of success.
