Attiq Ur Rahman Dogar is a Civil Engineer with specialization in Structural Engineering. After graduating in 2014 from NUST Pakistan, he worked with a consultant firm as Assistant Resident Engineer supervising the construction works of DHA Ph-IV, Islamabad, Pakistan. In 2016, he was selected for fully funded Erasmus Mundus Master program in Sustainable constructions under Natural Hazards and Catastrophic event (SUSCOS). He carried out his coursework at University of Liège in Belgium and Politehnica University of Timișoara in Romania. He conducted his dissertation work at Luleå University of Technology in Sweden where his worked with a cold formed steel manufacturer company Lindab International. He worked on modification of Gerber joint for steel trapezoidal sheeting profile and his work has been patented in Sweden and published in Elsevier’s Journal Structures. His research interests include study of Steel and Composite structures under extreme loadings i.e. Earthquake, Fire and Impact loading.
