Assistant Professor

Dr. Ansa Qurat-ul-ain has been working at UCP since 2018 as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychology. Her interest in Psychology developed during her undergraduate years that led her to do her MSc in Psychology. She won Gold Medal in Masters and later worked as a permanent lecturer in The Islamia University of Bahawalpur for almost two years. Her aim is to enhance her knowledge and analytical skills by offering her services in a dynamic organization that provides opportunities and substantial responsibility to new people enabling them to transfer and increases their knowledge, skills, and experience.

Her quest for learning did not stop here. She decided to pursue her studies and won scholarship for Doctoral Degree from University Utara Malaysia, Malaysia. Her learning experience at University Utara Malaysia was highly rewarding as it updated her theoretical knowledge which nominated her dissertation among the best dissertations of the year 2018.

During her Doctoral journey, she has been the part of various international conferences in Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, and Dubai. She was selected among the top three students of her university and went to Australia in International Outbound Mobility program to present her doctoral research. Additionally, she has got grant of 20k RM for a project from Malaysian University.

She has strong interest in Positive Psychology, Counseling Psychology, Cognitive and Development Psychology and Abnormal Psychology. She has conducted various workshops on stress management for students from various fields and has supervised research work of nine MS students. She has five publications at her credit.
