Teaching  Assistant Experience:

Worked as a teaching assistant at Sahmyook University Pharmacology department throughout the Ph.D. period, made lesson plans and presentations, designed the study and interpreted the data, performed the experiments with Pharmacy students as a senior researcher and managed literature searches, also monitored student progress during their laboratory experiments. (From January 2012 to August 2015)

Professional Experience:

Working as Assistant Professor (Pharmacology) at University of Central Punjab (UCP) Lahore Pakistan from 14 Sept. 2015 to present. Maintain record of Pharmacology practicals, make lecture plans. Conduct group discussions and tutorial with students to solve their queries. Prepare MCQs and SEQs papers for test. Participation in inter-department managerial activities. Give presentations on various topics and present latest research publications for various research projects

Laboratory Research Experience

Behavioral analysis, Drug discrimination, Behavioral assessment of sensorimotor processes in the rats and mice (Elevated plus-maze test, Passive-avoidance test, Y-maze test, Openfield test, Foot shock test, Rota rod test etc.) Conditioned Place Preference (CPP) An approach to evaluating positive and negative druginduced stimuli. Intravenous drug self-administration (SA) in nonhuman primates. Electroencephalogram (EEG) surgery. Implantation of EEG electrodes in rats.
Protein expression, Purification of membrane proteins, Assay techniques, Gene cloning and Mutagenesis, Centrifugation, Ultra centrifugation, Cell lysing techniques, Microfluidizer and Sonication, Thin layer and Column chromatography, FPLC, UV-Vis, Fluorescence spectrometry, PCR, SDS-page, Agarose gel electrophoresis, Western blot etc.
