Dr. Ismat Jabeen is currently serving as Assistant Professor, at University of Central Punjab. She received her PhD from National University of Modern Languages, Islamabad under Higher Education Commission of Pakistan Indigenous PhD Fellowship Program. Her area of specialization in PhD is Applied Linguistics. Her further research also focuses mainly on the teaching and learning of English within Pakistani context mostly combining theory and practice. Her research work has been published nationally and internationally. She has presented English Department, UCP in national and international conferences.
A number of students have completed their M. Phil under her supervision. She has also served extensively as Internal and External Supervisor/Thesis Examiner for a number of renowned universities.
