Currently equipped with research expertise of Nano-biomaterials synthesis and pharmaceutical applications, I want to excel my research potential. My expertise are in the field of drug delivery from nanotechnology aspects and bringing it to productive outcomes in the form of solutions to real time pharmaceutical problems. I wish to establish my career in academic teaching and research in Nano-bio-materials at the interface of pharmaceutical sciences.

  • Sep, 2015-Oct, 2016: Visiting Research Scholar in Nanomedicine lab of Nanobiotechnology Research Group at National Institute for Biotechnology and Genetic Engineering (NIBGE), Faisalabad, Pakistan. PUBLICATIONS/ PROJECTS UNDER PROCESS

  • Hollow mesoporous hydroxyapatite nanostructures; A promising route with ultrahigh drug loading and pH sensitive drug release (Submitted).
  • Antibacterial activity of Azithromycin loaded hollow mesoporous hydroxyapatite nanoparticles against carbapenem resistant gram negative pathogens.
  • A simple route for the synthesis of hydroxyapatite nanowires for bone implants.
  • Sustained antibacterial activity of ciprofloxacin loaded Solid lipid nanoparticles.
  • Facile synthesis of Hydroxyapatite-lipid hybrid nanoparticles for controlled release drug delivery.

RESEARCH SKILLS

  • Synthesis of nanobiomaterials by core-shell technology, co-precipitation, single emulsion, double emulsion and nanoprecipitation along with drug loading, in vitro drug release profile and kinetic modeling.
  • Practical experience of in vitro antibacterial activity test including disk diffusion method and broth dilution method to resolve the issues related to multi-drug resistance.
  • Structure elucidation and spectroscopic techniques:  Chromatography, UV-visible/NanoDrop 2000c and FTIR.
  • Thermal and mechanical properties: Thermo gravimetric analysis (TGA), Differential scanning calorimetry (DSC).
  • Surface characterization, materials morphology and size: Atomic force microscopy (AFM), Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM), and Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) and dynamic light scattering (DLS).
  • MS-Office and other computer related skills.
