Ms. Hina Ali is a lecturer at UCP Business School in Management division; she has a MS in Public Administration from Institute of Administrative Sciences, University of the Punjab, with specialization in Human Resource Management. Besides her regular duties, she is heading the UCP’s Movie Club as Patron. Ms. Ali also has a keen interest in arts, fashion and travelling. Prior joining as a lecturer Ms. Ali has worked in the HR Department of Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital and MCB Bank Limited- Head office.

Teaching Assignments

  • For every semester, I complete 48hours (32 lectures/ 1.5hr) for one class/section where each semester comprises of 16 weeks. Classes comprise of students pursuing Bachelors of Business Administration or Masters of Business Administration.
  • Areas of teaching are; Training and Development, Negotiation and Dispute Resolution, Introduction to Human Resource Management, Fundamentals of Management and Organization, Business Connections and Introduction to Business.
  • Ensure class participation by encouraging students while maintaining discipline in the class.
  • Trained the hypothetical trainers (students of effective training) to conduct training sessions for the first semester students.

Administrative Assignments

  • “Patron” of movie club society, comprising of above 100 students for which I organize events, conduct meetings, and make goals and strategies of the club.
  • Organize a desk platform for recruiting members for the club and evaluates hierarchy’s performance.
  • Resolves all the conflicts between students of the society, and negotiates with the administration on budgetary and other important matters on behalf of the movie club.
