Dr. Yasmin Rashid graces the closing ceremony of UCP's on-campus vaccination centre

To mark the end of the on-campus vaccination drive in collaboration with Primary and Secondary Healthcare Department, Government of Punjab, the University of Central Punjab organised a closing ceremony which was attended by the honourable Cheif Guest, The Health and Minister of Punjab, Dr. Yasmin Rashid, Consultant SKMCH & RC, Dr. Salma Abbas, Manager Communications, Primary and Secondary Healthcare Department, Sajjad Hafeez.

“By ensuring the vaccination of more than 80% students, I think UCP has done a wonderful job and has set an example for other institutes to follow,” Dr. Yasmin Rashid said as she addressed the UCP community and congratulated them on a successful campaign.

She urged all vaccinated students to take up an ambassador role and ensure all those around them know and understand the importance of getting vaccinated to ensure a safe and secure environment for all.

Prizes were also distributed among students who won the poster and video making competition organised by P&SHD.

The closing ceremony concluded with Dr. Nassar Ikram, Pro-rector UCP, presenting Dr Yasmin Rashid a shield of appreciation.
