UCP CPE conducted external training for Pak Railways Officers

UCP – Centre for Professional Excellence has kick started its external training operations. The first external training was conducted at Pakistan Railways Academy Walton Lahore on Thursday, October 7.

Senior officers from Pakistan Railways in grades BPS 17, 18 and 19 from cross disciplines including Engineers, Medical Doctors, Law Officer, Railway Police, Procurement & Production Managers and officials from Ministry of Railways participated in this day long training session on Lean and Six Sigma. Participants were able to develop knowledge about the modern frameworks on Lean and Six Sigma which contribute to organizational success. Training activities included discussions on industrial cases and applications as well as assessment and evaluation exercises.

Head UCP-CPE, Mr Zubair Anwar, facilitated this training session as the resource person.

UCP Centre for Professional Excellence has been recently established with a scope to train and upskill the individual professionals and contribute to capacity building of the organizations in both public and private sector in line with the modern technology and standards.
