UCP Announces Spring Admission 2018
University of Central Punjab
UCP is a professional institution established in 2002 by Punjab Group of Colleges, the largest educational network in Pakistan. The network itself started operating in 1985 and focused on intermediate education primarily. With the passage of time and the success of colleges in imparting quality education the network ventured into higher educational services.
Initially it was Punjab College of Business Administration (PCBA), Punjab Institute of Computer Sciences (PICS), Punjab College of Information Technology (PCIT), Punjab College of Commerce (PCC) and Punjab Law College (PLC) that offered professional courses in Management Studies, Information Technology, Commerce and Law. These colleges served as the principal constituents of UCP and made the basis for the formation of University of Central Punjab. Thus, University of Central Punjab was already operating long before its official establishment as a separate, individual and degree awarding institution.
Understanding the demands of changing times and the need for a dedicated environment to offer focused and exclusive degree programs in a customized environment, Punjab Group filed the petition in August 1996 to establish a well-equipped University in the Province of Punjab.
After successfully receiving a No Objection Certificate in October 1999 the network proceeded to work on the establishing University of Central Punjab which in fact was to become the first private sector degree awarding institution in the province of Punjab. The charter for the University was awarded in April 2002.
Punjab Group of Colleges proudly holds the distinction of establishing first ever private university that holds a degree awarding status. The need for more advanced education along with the state of the art facilities in a purpose built campus was first realized by the Group to ensure and provide quality professional degree programs.
University of Central Punjab in the span of last few years has made remarkable improvements and its growth has been immense in the areas of degree programs and facilities it offers. Currently the University maintains the faculties which are offering modern degree programs that are comprehensive, demanding, and designed to meet the professional needs of the contemporary market.

The Faculty of Management Studies will not be taking B.Com admission 2018 application for the Spring. However, BBA admission 2018 is open at the UCP Business School under the same faculty.
