Awareness Seminar on Diabetes Prevention and Management

In connection to World’s Diabetes Day, UCP Health Club in collaboration with Agha Khan University Hospital and Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Central Punjab, organized a one day awareness seminar entitled “Diabetes Prevention and Management” in order to equip future graduates with know-how regarding pretty much the most widespread disorder i.e; Diabetes. The session commenced with the recitation of Holy Quran followed by the National Anthem. Afterward, a legion of HEC recognized speakers and diabetes educators delivered educational content among the attendees of the seminar. Chief guest, Dr. M. Asif Naveed provided a clear view of the diagnosis of diabetes. After the presentations of all the presenters, the event was concluded on a thanking note to the guest speakers. The session proved itself a great success in spreading awareness and creating a learning environment among the attendees.
