The Department of English conducted a Literary Session on Dr. Muhammad Sheeraz’s Novel “SASA”The author, Dr. Muhammad Sheeraz is currently serving as a Chair, English Department, International Islamic University, Islamabad. He did his Postdoc from University of North Carolina- Wilmington, NC, USA. He did his PhD in Linguistic Criticism from International Islamic University, Islamabad, Pakistan.  He is a translator, book critic and a reviewer. The panel included the following guests,

  • Dr. Nukhbah Taj Langah, Associate Professor of English and Dean of Humanities,  Forman  Christian College University, Lahore
  • Suheyl Umar, Professor of University of Central Punjab, Lahore
  • Mr. Raza Naeem, Book Critic and Translator, Lahore 

Dean, Dr. Fehmida Sultana welcomed the honorable guests. All the speakers critically reviewed the book and highlighted its literary significance. Mr. Raza Naeem read excerpts from the novel that were thoroughly enjoyed by the audience. Dr. Asim Karim, on behalf of the English Department presented the vote of thanks to the worthy guests. Dr. Ismat Jabeen, Program Director, concluded the session by presetting souvenirs to the worthy guests.
