View mapThe students of MS Clinical Psychology stepped away from their projects to organize a groundbreaking event of Psychology Department named as “Mental Health Camp” arranged by Dr. Shazia Hasan (HOD Psy.Dept.), Dr. Urooj Sadiq (Asst.Prof), Momina Nayyer (Lecturer) and inaugurated by Dr. Fehmida Sultana (Dean FASS) on 18th May, 2017. This event was a glimmer for the department as it attracted students, professors and head of departments from different faculties to come and have a deeper look into psychology and two of its major domains: testing and counselling. The different tests administered were Self-Compassion, Self-Esteem, Exam Anxiety, Social Anxiety, Personality Assessment and many more. At the spot counselling was given to those discussing their personal issues and got professional guidance over that. The response of the camp was very good, 350 students were registered for counselling center. It gave an opportunity to the students to discuss their issues with professional clinical psychologists. With the motivation from successful event, to a chance to interact with university students and professors, it was truly a day to remember.
