View mapUCP Photography Club organized its signature VIRSA Photo walk on Saturday, 6th January, 2018 in collaboration with the Walled City of Lahore Authority (WCLA). A total of 150 students, faculty and staff members participated in this walk that commenced from Delhi Gate and concluded at the Food Street. The students were divided into 6 groups and each group was accompanied by guides from WCLA who briefed the participants throughout the trail. All participants visited Shahi Hamam, Gali Surjan Singh, Kooche Ghubarchiya, Masjid Wazir Khan, Rung Mahal, Kashmiri Bazar, Sonehri Masjid, Baoli Bagh, Kasera Bazaar, Waan Market, Pani Wala Talaab and concluded the walk at the food street where lunch was served at Cucoo’s Den. The main purpose of conducting this photo walk was to help participants improve their photography skills, promoting photography amongst students and promoting the heritage of Lahore. All participants then headed back to the university where the event concluded with a closing ceremony.
