Workshop on Methodologies in Translation Studies

The Department of English, Faculty of Arts & Social Sciences organized One Day Workshop on Research Methodologies in Translation Studies on 21^st April, 2018 from 11:00am to 4:00pm.
The workshop was attended by MPhil/MS Applied Linguistics and English Literature students and Faculty Members. The workshop primarily focused on the discussion on the interdisciplinary nature of translation studies and the ongoing projects & the scope of research in the said area. Hands-on practice session helped the participants relate the theory with practice.
Dr. Ghulam Ali, Head Centre for Languages & Translation Studies, University of Gujrat conducted the workshop. Dr. Ghulam Ali is the Founder of the Centre for Languages & Translation Studies and he has conducted & organized more than 40 workshops, seminars and conferences nationwide in the field of Translation Studies.
