BS Economics

The Department of Economics addresses pressing need for professionals with expertise in economics for various aspects of development, policy making, implementation, research, and teaching. It offers Bachelors of Science in Economics with specialization either in Finance or Data Analytics to equip students with a multifaceted skill set and knowledge base and empower them to thrive in the digital age, where data is a currency of immense value, and offers opportunities for entrepreneurship and pioneering research in economics and related domains. The MS Program started in Fall 2013, where numerous MS students have successfully completed their degrees. Their theses are submitted for publication in peer-reviewed journals, and their quality is rigorously assessed by experts in their respective fields.

Admission Criteria

At least 45% marks or 2nd division in F.Sc./FA/I.Com./ICS/A level or equivalent. Candidates are also required to appear in an in-house written test, followed by an interview.
