Muhammad Iqbal Akram is specialized in Film & TV Production from pioneer batch of Institute of Communication Studies, University of the Punjab in 2008. He did M.Phil in Multimedia Arts. He has worked with Sarmad Sultan Khoosat in his Production House Zeejan Film Production House, Media Bridge Production House. Worked as a freelancer for ICNA RELIEF CANADA for making documentaries and advertisement and actively participated in International Film Festivals. Winner of the Short Film Competition in LUMS Film Festival, Vasakh Film Festival in Forman Christian University and Lahore School of Economics Film Festival.

Honors and Awards

  • Not Be Too Loud short fiction film about deaf and dumb children won 1st Prize from Vasakh International Film Festival (Forman Christian University, Lahore), LUMS University International Film Festival, Lahore School of Economics Film Festival.
  • Decade documentary about women education of rural areas of Punjab won 1st Prize from Vasakh International Film Festival (Forman Christian University, Lahore), LUMS University International Film Festival, Lahore School of Economics Film Festival.
  • My short film has selected in an International Film Festival held in Italy.
