Ms. Mirrat Gul, a senior Clinical Psychologist, was invited as a guest speaker in University of Central Punjab to deliver a lecture on Cognitive Behavior Therapy for patients of Depression and Anxiety to the students of M.S Clinical Psychology.
Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) is a form of psychotherapy that encourages patients to explore the relationship between their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. This kind of treatment helps individuals in recovery, understand their self-destructive behavior, and work to modify their way of thinking. Cognitive Behavior Therapy is used for a variety of mental and Behavioral health disorders and is commonly used by therapist to treat anxiety and depression.
