Its a moment of great pride for the University of Central Punjab, Lahore that Dr. Muhammad Saadi (Assistant Professor at UCP Engineering School) has published a research article on Visible light communication – An architectural perspective on the applications and data rate improvement strategies, has been recognized as one of the most downloaded papers from Transactions on Emerging Telecommunication Technologies. The journal has an impact factor of 1.28.

Autobiography: Dr. Muhammad Saadi has been working as an assistant professor at UCP. He obtained his Ph.D. degree from the Department of Electrical Engineering, Chulalongkorn University, Thailand. During his Ph.D., he was associated with the National Electronics and Computer Technology Center (NECTEC), Thailand, and Aimagin. Pvt Ltd, Thailand. Dr. Saadi received his Bachelor’s Degree from the National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences (FAST-NU), Pakistan in the year 2007. Before pursuing his Master’s Degree from the National University of Malaysia (UKM) in the year 2009, he worked as Network Operation Engineer in Mobilink, Pakistan. He has also worked at the University of Management and Technology for two years as a Lecturer.
