Marketing Association of Aspiring Executives UCP was formed with a vision to make the marketing students to be more informed as well as more effectively connected with the real world; by the Head Of Marketing Division UCP Dr. Maryam Iqbal Kianni and to achieve that goal Marketing Association Of Aspiring executives; under the supervision of the patron of their club the most charismatic person Prof. Khurram Hamid arranged a Mega Marketing Event at University Of Central Punjab on 24th and 25th of May UCP Marketing Gala 2017; lead by president of the club Khawaja Moeed Afzaal. The event was lead sponsored by Sim Sim wallet by FINCA co sponsored by Lahore Motorway City and food sponsored by Buffalo wings and rings.
In this Event participants from universities of Lahore (University of Lahore, Preston University, Global Institute, Riphah University and University of management and technology); competed for a winner and runner up position of the 2 categories; BRAND WARFARE and AD EFFECT. These participants were judged by the best from the corporate sector; Sarah Zubair- Brand Manager- Rose Petal, Moazam Shahbaz- Head of Marketing- Rozee.pk, Hanan Raffi- Manager Client Service- Brand Logics, Faraz Hassan- CEO- Publics Pakistan, Eurm Bukhari- 360 degress creative solutions, Adil Saeed- Chief Operating Officer- Bandact; in order to create a bridge between the academic and corporate world. University of management and technology won the BRAND WARFARE competition and Global institute came up second. Global Institute won the AD EFFECT competition and Preston University came up second. All the other participating teams where awarded with certificates for their participation.
Miss Andleeb Abbas a well-known name from the political and academic canvas of Pakistan; another honoree part of the marketing division of University of Central Punjab shared her unwitting experience from the real world about Political Marketing with the students.
