Ms. Ayesha Sadiqa is doing PhD in Mass Communication from University of the Punjab(PU), Lahore. She has earned her M.Phil. in Mass Communication with the specialization in Research Track from PU. She got 1st division throughout her academic career. She is one the prominent faculty members who have teaching professional degrees like M. Ed and TEFL. Ms. Sadiqa has more than 6 years teaching experience in different universities and colleges including university of the Punjab and Education University. Her major areas of interest are Gender and Media, Current Affairs, Contemporary World Media, Mass Communication & Research, Language & Communication and International Communication, Communication Theories, Development Communication and Media Laws and Ethics. She has supervised many students for their research work, thesis and projects. She has been given additional charge of coordinator-ship and served as coordinator of MSc. Program (Journalism & Mass Communication) for one and half year at Faculty of Media & Mass Communication(FMCS), University of Central Punjab(UCP), Lahore. She has also conducted workshops as moderator at FMCS, UCP.

Brief Statement of Research

My research work is basically on Feminism, Media and Communication effects. Apart from this I have interest in Political communication, Digital Media and Health Communication
